A gold "Capture" button follows your teams on every CRM page. An idea on the way out of a meeting, a business card, a task not to forget: they type, dictate or photograph, and move on. Bodic transcribes, cleans up and prepares the filing; they validate when they have a minute.
- Three gestures: type a note, dictate it, photograph a business card or a whiteboard.
- Proposals, not decisions: activity, task, contact, account, LP Opportunity, project meeting or task, documentation page — nothing is written to the CRM until the author files it.
- Private until filed: a note is visible to its author only; "To triage", "My tasks", "Filed" and "Archived" keep the thread.
- Say what you want: "create a contact Rémi Haget, VP sales at Bodic" puts the Contact card first and ticked; the activity stays proposed, to tick.

A note that files itself, almost
A minute after sending, the note is transcribed and cleaned up: summary, key points, decisions, actions, people and companies mentioned. Bodic recognises your accounts and contacts, proposes what to create or link, and leaves you the last word.
- A namesake? The existing record is proposed for linking, never duplicated.
- Your corrections feed a personal dictionary: a proper noun transcribed wrongly once is right next time.
- A daily reminder tells you when notes have been waiting for more than 24 hours.
What Capture creates in your CRM
Whether it starts from a cc'd email or a dictated note, each object follows a simple rule, readable by everyone, the same for the whole team.
Force the intent
An extended address removes any ambiguity:

Created or recognised automatically by domain and email address, enriched from the signature (job title, phone). A likely duplicate is proposed for merging rather than created.
Always created, with the email body, attachments and an AI summary, linked to the right account. Replies in the same thread enrich the same activity instead of creating a new one.
Created when the exchange concerns a fundraise, linked to the open opportunity if one already exists. If several funds are raising, you pick the right one in one click.
Always proposed, never created without your approval. Target, sector, amount and source are pre-filled and editable before entering the Deal Flow.
Capture Desk: three queues, nothing slips through without a rule
Everything Capture has done, is waiting on or could not do, on a single screen. Records created from a pending item carry a badge until you decide. Personal notes stay in My Capture until their author files them: the Desk does not see them.

Four actions, no more
Approve, merge with existing, edit and approve, discard. The source email and the difference with the existing record are right in front of you.
A badge on the records concerned
An account, contact or opportunity created from a pending item shows a warning until the decision is made.
Everything is traced
Every object keeps the link to its source email; every decision is logged with its author.
One mailbox, read-only, hosted in France
Capture applies the Bodic CRM philosophy: the CRM serves the user, never the other way round. No mailbox sync, no invasive access.
One mailbox only
Bodic only reads the dedicated mailbox, created in your tenant. Access to any other mailbox is technically impossible, and your IT can verify it.
Read-only
No sending, no writing, no deleting. You revoke access at any time, from your tenant, without going through Bodic.
Your credentials stay with you
A Microsoft 365 app registration or a Google Workspace OAuth client, set up by your IT in 15 minutes with the guide provided. Bodic needs no account with these vendors.
Hosted in France
Processing and raw emails are kept with your CRM, at Clever Cloud; extraction by open-source LLMs self-hosted in France on OVHcloud. No data leaves the European Union.
Your notes stay yours
A My Capture note is encrypted and readable by its author only until it is filed. An administrator can purge it without reading it — when someone leaves, or on a GDPR request — never consult it.
Outlook Add-in or Capture? Both. The Add-in to choose, case by case, what you push from Outlook. Capture for the cc reflex, including from a phone, from Gmail, or for colleagues who install nothing.

What our clients ask us
Does anything need to be installed?
Not for your teams. Your IT creates a dedicated mailbox in your tenant, then a Microsoft 365 app registration or a Google Workspace OAuth client, in about fifteen minutes with the guide provided. Full deployment fits in half a day.
Can Bodic read our other mailboxes?
No. Access is technically restricted to the dedicated mailbox, read-only: no sending, no writing, no deleting. Your IT can verify it and revoke access at any time from your tenant.
Can anyone feed our CRM?
No. Only senders from your own domain are accepted. An email sent to the mailbox from outside is not processed.
What if Capture gets it wrong?
It creates nothing blindly. A likely duplicate is proposed for merging, an ambiguous fund is submitted to you, a deal never goes in without approval. Everything goes through the Capture Desk, and the records concerned carry a badge until you decide.
Who sees my My Capture notes?
You alone, until you file them. Once filed, the note follows the permissions of the records it created, like any CRM activity.
Does dictation work on the move?
Yes, from the phone's browser, with no app to install. The note leaves on send; offline mode — the note waits for the network to come back — is coming soon.
What if the transcription gets a name wrong?
You fix the text in two seconds; the correction joins your personal dictionary and applies to your next notes. Your account and contact names are recognised out of the box.
Where is our data processed?
Processing and raw emails are kept with your CRM, at Clever Cloud; extraction by open-source LLMs self-hosted in France on OVHcloud. No data leaves the European Union.
